lady and the vamp

I will always love the 1920's with one of the tenderest parts of my heart. i am inspired by every detail that decade has offered me. tonight i was thinking how strange it is that i have never really gotten to know the 1920's vamp.

i still site "the cure" as my favorite band, i love top hats, cameo jewelry and my heart honestly stops for black on black brocade anything. my closet is a good %75 black and is complete with black velvet funeral dresses and 2 crocheted, high collared vamp type dresses. i always saw the goths as something i wasn't. for me it has always been much more about the victorian era, skeleton keys, superstitions, funeral marches and so on.

i would combine the dark spring 2010 collection by dolce and gabbana with dior's fall 2009 collection and come up with the Vamp look of my dreams,

i am most hard core/obsessive over both vintage and high ed lingerie despire my lack of funding to purchase it but i love the following look...it's what i imagine getting read for bed in the 1920's might of looked like
